Bali has a surprising array of sports that thrive throughout the community, and all of the various clubs and organisations are known to be quite welcoming towards newcomers and beginners.

Bali Geckos

This American Football club was formed by a travelling Australian expat with a reputation as a football star in Jakarta. Ever since their inception in 1997, the Bali Geckos have been quite successful, and currently welcome anyone to train with their juniors at the Geckos Club.

Bali MMA

This is a world class facility that has been featured on Fox Sports and is ranked as one of the best MMA-gyms in the world. The classes offered here feature boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, strength & condition as well as yoga. The gym also provides surf camps, lodging and personalised meal plans.

Bali United FC

Originally called Putra Samarinda when it was founded in 1989, this club consistently takes part in the premier league of Indonesia. They were rebranded as the Bali United Football Club. There are many programs offered by the club, with their hallmark being the summer camp.

Finns Recreation Club

If you’re looking for an all-rounder, it doesn’t get better than this. The Finns Club has a fully-equipped fitness centre, a 25-metre lap pool, tennis court and even a water park for kids.
