The History

Dating all the way back to 1998, the Golf Club was founded by Gary McGlinchey, Greg Holmes, and David Moreland, who were also the 3 directors. This was Qatar’s very first 18-hole golf course, and the most renowned too. World Golf Championships often take place in this place. The 18-hole course has a year-round golf season and a massive driving range. You will find ample trolleys and rental cars as well as changing rooms, lockers, and dedicated bag rooms. The place also features 8 lakes, around which there are 65 imported cacti, all the way from Arizona. As a nature-lover, you will be fascinated by the 10,000+ shrubs and trees that add elegance to the space.
